Tuesdays for Good

We Give Back

We believe that local business should be designed to give back. Since the beginning, New York City small businesses have just been a part of the community, block by block. That is New York City. Exit9 is happy to follow in that tradition.

Our neighborhoods are made up of our friends and customers. We feel lucky to be a part of people's lives in a small way. We love watching kids grow up over the years, who were once were wide eyed looking at all the shiny and magical stuff. We love that we have been part of people’s lives by being the fun store in the neighborhood, and by donating items for raffles and donating money to good local organizations.

As of August 2017, Exit9 has just crossed the $50,000 mark for cash donations to non-profits and to our beloved NYC public schools.

And thanks to you for making us your go-to card and gift shop in the East Village and Boerum Hill, you have allowed us to give back even more. And that's the way it should work, that's the way business should be designed; designed to Give Back.

Tuesdays For Good

Tuesdays For Good is a giving program run by Exit9 Gift Emporium since 2011. The way TFG has worked in the past, we would select one organization a month then donate 5% of sales from each Tuesday in that month.

We are in the process of reconfiguring this program based on feedback from our non-profit groups. Timing is everything, the saying goes. We are looking for ways to better match our timing with the needs of the groups we are looking to help.

We will update this space once we are back on line. Feel
free to sign up below.
